How one Jakarta group cut its month-end close from seven days to two

When we first sat down with the group's finance manager, she wasn't asking for software. She was asking for her evenings back.

Every month-end looked the same: five companies, five workbooks, one very long night stitching them together by hand. Intercompany sales were reconciled from memory. A single mistyped bank reference could throw the whole consolidation out.

We didn't rebuild how they work — we removed the manual steps. Books stayed per company; the group view assembled itself. Bank statements were pasted in and booked in a couple of clicks. By the second close, the number the board needed was ready before lunch, not after midnight.
